“windows into the soul”

The New Library is delighted to present an early evening event with the artist and iconographer Francesca Whiteside and the baroque viola player Marc Elton.

Saturday 11th November 2023 at 6.00pm.  St Illtud’s Church, Llantwit Major

A desire to find a link between her life as an artist and spiritual life led Francesca to begin a journey painting icons. She is joined in Llantwit for this event by musician Marc Elton on Baroque viola. Together they present  icons and music offering an exploration and meditation of ‘loving kindness’ within this beautiful and illuminating tradition.
